Great Product For A Small Budget
Some of the reviewers have stated that the camera takes blury pictures, and I noticed this to be the case indoors. I use my samsung 5 megapixel camera for indoor shots, but on a sunny day outdoors my aiptek does a very good job. I enjoy using the 8 megapixels setting because it picks up more detail than my five megapixel camera does. Also, for having paid only 180 dollars for this camera at Target I must say it is good for taking videos to upload to youtube. This is a good camera for someone on a budget, but if you are expecting something fancy I would invest more money.

I just returned this camera...horrible! The concept is perfect, the actual product is crap. The video is OK, BUT, I have a macbook & it did not sync up properly. The photos would sync but not the video. The lady at the store said it would, as did the actual packing literature, but I was unable to get video over. The still camera function on this is HORRIBLE. Worse than my 8-year-old kodak we let the kids play with. You can hold the camera PERFECTLY still but somehow 1/2 of the pictures would still be very blurry. Too bad this product was so disappointing. I had very high hopes & wanted to love it....
Broke in 20 minutes.
Takes 5 weeks for Aiptek to replace and customer pays for the long distance call and the Shipping to return the item. Can't get a refund for this defective product from Aiptek or Amazon so I can just replace this myself. Next time will spend more money for a more reputable brand and buy all electronics locally instead of online.
Great camera!
I love this little camera, it's compact, very easy to use, and for home users it gives you great quality videos and pictures. It plugs right out of the box into my macbook via usb and I can open the movies directly in Quicktime or edit them in iMovie, it's flawless! I bought my first A-HD in July but lost it in October, but being relatively inexpensive, I just got another one...it's a great value.
I love my Aiptek
I have one of these, and use it all the time. I keep it in my laptop bag, and if I ever need to record something, take a still digital picture, or otherwise, it's right there.
The microphone is poorly placed at the top of the camera, which can make sound capture difficult sometimes. You just have to remind people to speak up when talking to the camera.
Otherwise, the camera is a great under $200 video capture device.
