The K7600-C is a real universal charger for Kodak Li-Ion batteries. It can be used in different power plugs. The car adapter cord is a perfect solution when emergency charge is needed. If you have several kodak camera models you must have it. I have a Z1015is camera and I use the K7600-C rather than the embarrasing charge system of the Z1015is.

This charger will work for several types of batteries. It is fast and keeps my camera ready to go. My order was processed super fast--it made it here before the camera, which I had ordered several days before I ordered the charger.

I paid up over $30 for this product which I ordered from Kodak directly rather than getting a generic brand from Amazon...I was afraid a generic one wouldn't last. However the AC adaptor quit working after 10 months (there wasn't much use either) so then I had to pay over $13 for a universal adaptor to use the charger. Kodak did not offer to replace the charger, simply saying they didn't have a replacement for the adaptor portion. Very unhappy with this Genuine Kodak brand purchase.

After several emails with them, they did agree to replace the kit--I had to pay postage and go without a charger for about 3 weeks, but they did send a new one. I'm nervous about it's fragility after my experience.

Poor design... pins that contact batter very fragile and broke off after 6 months of use. Strange design with base, adapter and long cord that should just be one unit. Very bulky for travel. Don't waste your money on this product.

I replaced it with a Power 2000 RTC-148 Charger for Kodak KLIC-8000. The Power 2000 is well designed and less than 10 bucks! Sturdy contact pins and folding plug on back, came with euro adapter and car adapter. Much better product overall and great for travel!
