An Opteka filters can actually improve the image that your camera receives, and it's about the only accessory that can. By eliminating flare and ghosting, the ugly cousins of reflection and refraction, before they get to your camera's original lens system, your camera gets a much cleaner image.
UV Filter - A must for any camera. Penetrates haze, adds warmth, and protects your valuable lens from scratches, dirt, fingerprints, etc. Leave it on your lens at all times.
Polarizing Filter - For shooting in bright sun, at beaches, snow, ect. Controls bright light entering lenses for a better balanced color image. Darkens blue skies and reduces reflections from non-metallic surfaces.
Fluorescent Filter - Reduces the greenish cast common to fluorescent lighting and produces pleasing, natural results, particularly in flesh tones.

Poor Quality
I bought these with high expectations and have been let down by their performance.
The instructions suggest that you use the clear UV filter any time, all the time, for the protection of your lens...however...it repeatedly created optic flares, decreased clarity of ALL images, and worse of all, it created a fuzzy circular image on all the photos. I ~think~ it's possibly creating some sort of reflection off of the camera lens rim but this is something that is SO blatantly disruptive to the images that I just hate it.
I also bought the lens adapter in order to use the filters and to my chagrin, I discovered that I was forced to nudge the zoom up a notch when I wanted full panoramic view because the adapter creates a grayish-black circle around the image unless I do this.
That SUCKS.
Every time I prepare to take a shot I cannot go full wide aspect because of this poorly sized adapter.
All in all, it was a total loss of money for me as far as I'm concerned. Buyer Beware!
Not quite right!
I bought these filters thinking that it would be nice to protect the lens of a Kodak Z812, but you have to have an attachment on the camera in order to use the filters, and with the attachment on ,without zooming, the attachment cuts off the edges of the picture. Plus you can not keep the attachment on and still have a convenient size camera. (The attachment is about 3 inches long so that the lens can zoom inside it.) The filters seem to be nice though if you really want to use filters. They are just not very convenient to use.
