Opteka 2.2x lens
Great Price ! Shipped fast ! This was a Christmas present for my daughter. She used the lens to shoot a few practice shots. Already very happy with how it works. Looks cool when attached to her Canon A590. We're all very satisified with our purchace.
Lens
Telephoto Lens is great. Big difference with the lens on is taking zoom in pictures close but without the lens you will see the big difference very far away. I like it very much it really take far away pictures good.
It works well and good $$$
I bought this and another original canon lens. I am really happy with this lens and I can't believe the price is so affordable.
 Better lens poor fit
This lens is a better lens than the Canon lens I bought for my A70 years ago. This lens does not have nearly the limitations of the Canon so you get more of a zoom range. The silver color is a very good match for the camera and looks like part of the camera. I am still using my Canon wide angle lens and it looks out of place with a black lens on a silver camera body.
The bad news is the fit. Mine has a tendency to fit poorly. The first time it went past the stop when I twisted it in place and was very difficult to remove. Now I am more careful when putting it on. This seems to be a consistent problem. I have to mount it just right or it will stick.
Opteka makes an awesome Telephoto lens
This lens definitely brings it in closer and with clarity. The only drawback is the vignetting at normal focal point. Loses the "tunnel" after 0.5x's zoom. Other than that though GREAT! Makes the pictures even better in my opinion! A must get!
