Waterproof casing for Canon
If your going to use your camera around or under water look no further, I was going to the Caribbean to dive and snorkle and wanted something that would allow me to proctect the camera, take great photo's and stay within a budget, I am very pleased with this item! Worth the purchase and priced much less then at a camera store, I looked into the water proof bag first and I'm sure it would work in shallow waters, but after seeing the WP-DC24 there was no doubt which one was best, The DC24 with camera inside floats, so you won't worry about it sinking. Five stars for this item.
Excellent Product
Received the case promptly and functioned perfectly right out of the box. Make sure you READ AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS, including how to lube up the gasket with provided silicone grease. There is an optional weight that can be attached. While it's probably a good idea to buy and use this, it's not absolutely necessary, but the camera/case will float when under water.
The only small caveat is that you can't change the SCN mode while in the case (no way to use the wheel) so make sure you set it on "underwater" before you place it in the case.
 perfect for whitewater rafting!
I bought this case for a whitewater rafting trip i was going on. The pictures are amazingly clear and the sturdy case gave me alot of confidence that nothing would hurt the camera. It was great outside the water and even under water the many times i got ejected out of the raft. The video was super high quality and the sound was still pretty clear through the case. I ended up going on another rafting trip the week after and used it again. It also works great in the hot tub.
I've seen the camera "bags", but this is a sturdy case with a neck strap, which made me feel alot more confident that my camera was safe.
I highly recommend this case if you will be enjoying any activities where you're gonna get wet but still want high quality pictures.
