Digital Frame For the price I was completely satisfied with this. We use it to view our SD cards on hunting trips, because most everthing out there has such small screens that you cannot see any detail, but this screen size was great, quality was great. Only wish the instruction booklet was a little better, but other than that it does more than what we expected.
NOT as advertized .. the resolution is just bad .. you can see the pixels on the picture frame and the color is not so good either .. don't waste your time with this one , you'll find better deals outside at your local costco/bj's wholesaler .. totally disappointed with this product .. and you would to think other people who review the item be great , but they probably gotten a different product than the one's shipped out ..
Works, no frills Basic, functional. No frills. Does automatically crop pictures (mine are all 3:2) to 2:1 (or whatever aspect ratio it is). Menus intuitive and easy to use.
Wish it could show videos :-)
Awesome I didn't expect so many functions on this device, calendar, clock, e-book reader... More then I wanted, perfect for this price, better then some more expensive ones...
check out the digital frame in person first I have been shopping for a decent digital photo frame for a while now, and I have notice MOST of the low end digital frame will advertise high resolution, which usually sounds like it should show picture similar to what we see in the monitor. Just clear picture. However the problem is probably not the TFT screen itself, it is the display controller, most of these low end frame will have a controller that will interlace the picture (see here [...]
So it is not exactly false advertising.
I have seen some even list the resolution of the screen such as (480 x 234) and in person the screen still looks bad. Such as the COBY DP700, it is listed as
480 x 234, but when I see it in person, it has that interlace problem. This ALURATEK APDF07SF 7" DIGITAL PICTURE FRAME also have the same issue, but it is not quite as bad as some of the other one I have seen. If you are willing to pay $20 extra and get the ALURATEK ADMPF108F, it looks exactly like how it looks on the computer monitor. So make sure you check out the digital picture frame in person.
