No sunsets are similar, and the number of unique compositions is endless. A well known problem in sunset photography is poor composition, dark foreground colors and blown out skies. If you know the techniques, anyone can learn how to take good sunset photos!
Many people have asked me how I shoot my sunset photos. Instead of repeating myself, I finally decided to write a book about it.
I will not claim that I am a professional sunset photographer, but I have traveled a lot and taken pictures of a considerable number of sunsets and sunrises throughout the years. Educationally I have a background in Physics (optics) and have been interested in understanding the nature of light for some time now. I have also followed the rapid developments in the camera arena closely, both from a hardware and software point of view. This book is meant to be useful for both technical and non-technical users - beginners and more experienced. We start with the basics and gradually build from there. In low-light photography both technology and creativity are important, and we will focus on both aspects!
The book covers what gear and what preparations you need, as well as how to set up your camera and find a good composition. It also covers advanced concepts like high dynamic range (HDR) and exposure blending (fusion).
Don't take another digital picture until you read this book! Someone has finally gotten into the "secret files" of top photographers and is sharing the information for the first time ever! » Learn more now! » Browse other eBooks
